Online Critics divulga nomeados
Com 8 nomeações, como era de esperar, Brokeback Mountain parte em vantagem. Good Night and Good Luck., Crash, Munich e A History of Violence lideram a perseguição. Surpresas foram poucas.
Na categoria de melhor realizador, Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg e David Cronenberg vão tentar bater os favoritos George Clooney e Ang Lee.
Philiph Seymour-Hoffman e Heath Ledger lutam pelo titulo de melhor actor, mas Joaquin Phoenix, Terrene Howard e David Straiharn estão na luta. Nas senhoras a surpresa é a substituição de Judi Dench por Joan Allen. Já Felicity Huffman, Reese Whiterspoon, Keira Knightley e Naomi Watts fizeram valer o seu estatuto.
