Bogdanovich realiza The Broken Code
Peter Bodganovich vai regressar ao activo. O homem que tratava por "tu" os grandes nomes da história do cinema americano não estava envolvido em nenhum projecto desde The Cats Meow, um semi-falhanço sobre a misteriosa morte do produtor Thomas Ince a bordo do iate do milionário William Randolph Hearst.
O novo filme - com o titulo de produção The Broken Code - vai girar à volta de um cientista de pesquisa, cujo trabalho se revelou essencial para a descoberta da estrutura ADN. Baseada numa história veridica o filme é o resultado do trabalho da Tribeca e da Sloan Development que têm produzido vários guiões sobre temas ligados à Ciência.
Não há ainda elenco e a produção do filme começará apenas no Outono. Para Bogdanovich é o regresso, ele que foi um dos grandes autores da década de 70 com sucessos como The Last Picture Show.

Óptima notícia. Só espero que venha mais na linha do Last Picture Show e do Texasville e menos na linha do The Cat's Meow, que não sendo mau estava bastante abaixo daquilo que se esperaria de Bogdanovich.
